Bryce & Jennifer are hopeful adoptive parents from Utah waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birth Parents Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and learn more about our family. We want to express our love and appreciation to you for your desire to find out more about the adoption process. We are somewhat aware of the hard decisions that you are faced with at this time. Because of a wonderful birth mother and birth father, we have our precious boy, Cooper. We have had a great relationship with his birth parents. Through building a relationship with them and their families, we have gained insight into both their heartaches and their joys concerning adoption. We have learned many things from them. We know that this is a difficult decision and we are aware of your desire to do what is best for your baby. We would like you to know that we have a special place in our hearts for birth parents and their families. We admire your strength and courage, and more importantly, your love for your child.
About Us We would like to share with you a little bit about us. Our biggest priority is our family and the time we spend with one another. We enjoy participating in almost all athletic activities. Cooper loves to support us, whether we are playing basketball, volleyball, or softball. We love to camp and we try to take family camp trips at least twice a year. This gives Cooper the opportunity to explore the outdoors and learn about nature. These past couple of years, we have been able to take Cooper to Lake Powell and to Texas. More recently, we have spent a lot of time playing in the snow. Cooper has so much fun tromping through the snow in his big boots, and we have taken him sledding many times. It has also been fun to make snowmen and snow caves in our front yard. We always make sure to take lots of pictures, so those special moments will always be remembered.

Our Family I would like to tell you about my sweet husband. Bryce always goes the extra mile in anything that he does. He grew up being a peacemaker in his home and he continues to have a positive, “glass half full” attitude about life. One of things that attracted me to Bryce is his love for children. Children have always been drawn to Bryce because of his fun and loveable personality. I love to watch Bryce and Cooper interact with each other. Bryce just adores him and he is so proud to be his Father. For instance, this past summer, I looked out the window to find Bryce pulling Cooper along in his wagon, while Bryce was mowing the lawn. Cooper thought it was the greatest thing! Bryce enjoys reading to Cooper and also wrestling with him. He also loves to take Cooper on special “daddy-son” rides in his ’77 Land cruiser. Cooper loves his dad so much and they cherish their time spent together.

Now I want to tell you why admire Jennifer. Jennifer is definitely my better half. Jennifer is a ‘go-getter’ and she makes good use of her time. She helps me to be a better husband, father, and person. Jennifer is such an awesome mother…not only to our little boy, but also to our 15 nieces and 9 nephews. Jennifer has a good heart, is very approachable, and children of all ages warm up to her with ease. I love to watch Jennifer care for Cooper. For example, when Cooper gets his feelings hurt or gets a little “ouchie”, Jennifer knows just what to say or do to get him smiling and laughing again. Jennifer sees the best in people. Jennifer loves kids so much and she looks forward to being a mother to our next child.
Let us tell you about our wonderful son. Cooper is almost 3 years old and he has brought so much love and joy into our lives. We can’t imagine life without him. He has such an outgoing and fun personality, so you can’t help smiling when you are around him. He loves to interact with people and he is not one bit shy. He is very active and loves to play with his toy animals and race cars. Cooper enjoys being around all of his cousins and friends. He is so energetic and full of life. He is really fascinated with babies right now and he loves to play with them. Cooper always tells us that he has a baby in his stomach for us. The other night, I overheard him saying prayers with daddy and he asked that, “Mommy would please have a baby.” So, it is something that is on his mind. He is so excited about having a little brother or sister when we talk to him about it. He will be tender and playful, yet protective, like a big brother should be!
Conclusion We feel it important that our home is a safe haven from the temptations and evils of the world. We always want our home to be a place where our children will feel safe, protected, and loved. We also hope that our children will develop a sense of who they are and that they will also know that they have a Father in Heaven who is always watching over them.

There are truly no words to describe the love and appreciation that we feel towards you for trying to decide what is right for your child. We admire your unselfishness and strength to make this Christ-like decision. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know, so that we can keep you in our prayers. We want you to know that we are open to letters, pictures, and we would love the opportunity to meet you, if you would like that. We are inspired and blessed by your example of unconditional love. We want you to know of our desire to have Heavenly Father be part of this decision for all of us who are involved. He has led all of us down this path and we know He has a plan for each of us. May you find comfort and peace in the decisions that you make.

With love,
